About Us

Stoneybrook Farm is an historic Chichester, New Hampshire landmark. The farmhouse originally sat on 1000+ acres and was built around 1850 out of one massive block of granite that was quarried just a mile or so away. The five bedroom, one bath house has been modernized in many ways but all of the original woodwork and charm remains. The twelve inch granite blocks that make up this home help to keep the home warm during winter and the house cool in the summer.

Currently the farm now sits on 18 acres. A large brook runs through one side of the property and the remains of an old dam resides at the far end of the land. An extensive trail system is right off the back of our property which makes for great riding and hiking. We purchased the farm in April, 2007. We've reclaimed fields, developed larger vegetable gardens, restored our late 1700's barn and much more. Our goal has always been to live a self sufficient lifestyle. We raise and grow much of what we eat throughout the year and harvest our own firewood from our land.
