Hersir Fra Arbakka: Hersir's Icelandic name means "Norwegian Chief," fitting name for our herd leader. He was born in 2000 and imported from Iceland in 2005. He is from the old and famous Kolkuos line. He is truly one of the most dependable, safe and trustworthy horses we've ever known. Hersir's ability to think ahead and problem solve has made him a valuable trail horse who truly takes care of his rider.

In addition to his sweet nature, he is also very brave and curious, often facing scary objects by investigating them instead of shying away. He loves attention and enjoys just hanging out with his humans! But watch any food items that may be left out. He's been known to steal bagged lunches that contain potato chips and "sammiches!"
